Accommodation and eligibility

• A small shared home in Newcastle upon Tyne, accommodating up to three young people.
• Looked-after children and care leavers aged 16 and 17 referred through placing authorities.
• 18+ placements considered with placing-authority involvement and assessed suitability.
• Three furnished young-person bedrooms and shared living facilities.
• Bedrooms on upper floors; not suitable for young people requiring step-free bedroom access.

Support model

A designated key worker, individual support and risk plans, practical independence skills and multi-agency working. Young people help shape their goals and support arrangements.

Support plans are reviewed monthly with the young person and every three months with the young person and social worker, and updated after significant changes.

Scope and suitability

Our Statement of Purpose describes a shared home where residents have their own bedrooms and use communal living spaces. The accommodation may include people aged 18 and over alongside 16–17-year-olds, subject to individual assessment and suitability. Before arranging a placement, contact our team for current registration details and any conditions that apply to the service.

We assess care-versus-support needs and placement compatibility. We do not administer medication or provide specialist clinical treatment. Staffing arrangements are agreed according to the assessed needs and placement plan.

Policies and assurance

The Statement of Purpose, Safeguarding Policy, Complaints Policy and relevant service information are available on request to young people, families, carers, professionals and agencies. We can explain the information and discuss accessible formats.
