What We Do

The safety and wellbeing of the young people placed with us is paramount. We offer medium and high support packages, as well as outreach services for young people 16+ who don’t live in our accommodation. Our passion is providing high quality services that make a real difference, allowing young people to be happy, learn, have fun, and make memories. We welcome young people of all backgrounds and support those with complex needs, care leavers, and those at risk of exploitation or going missing.

Our Vision

At The Bridging Gap, we envision a community where all young people are supported and empowered to transition into independent, responsible, and fulfilled adults, equipped with the skills, confidence, and values needed to navigate life's challenges and make meaningful contributions to their communities.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower young people for independent living, fostering confidence, resilience, and purpose. We provide safe, nurturing environments for developing essential life skills and positive relationships. Core values

Our core values are derived from the 8 key principles that young people said they want from supported accommodation providers, which underpin the Supported Accommodation Regulations and Quality Standards 2023.
We involve the young people in all aspects of their support, from assessing needs and risks, to planning fun activities, to sharing their thoughts about the service and giving ideas for improvement.
We believe in empowering young people to voice their opinions, make choices, and participate in decisions affecting their lives, fostering a culture of respect, dignity, and autonomy for every young person in our service.
We value collaboration, communication, and teamwork among staff, young people, families, and stakeholders, working together cohesively to create a supportive and nurturing environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and heard.
We are committed to ongoing learning, professional development, and innovation, continuously seeking opportunities to improve our knowledge, skills, and practices to better meet the evolving needs of young people.
We uphold the highest standards of integrity, honesty, and accountability in all aspects of our work, maintaining transparency, ethical conduct, and responsible stewardship of resources to build trust, credibility, and confidence in our organisation.
